Centre of Primary Prevention
The goal is to prevent the formation of social-pathological behavior of basic and high school
students.
Programs: BE OK and EARLY INTERVENTION
Program BE OK: is a long-term preventative program. This program is intended for students
of primary school, secondary school, high school, training college, college.
Focused on question like are:
- drugs, chicane, learning of communication and argumentation skills,
- self-knowledge, relations in collective, healthy lifestyle,
- minority group toleration, risks connected with abnormal watching TV and playing
computer games.
Program EARLY INTERVENTION:
Indicated group: the goal of this group for youth is to spread preventive activities focused
indicated problem as are – experimenting with drugs, collective integration problem, etc.
EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM STUFF TRAINING IN THE AREA OF DRUG PROBLEMS:
Part of training pedagogical and administrative stuff is mainly:
- offer information about particular drugs and trends of drug taking,
- discuss about solving of critical situations from the socially pathological phenomena
(f.e. drug prevalence, chicane, etc.),
- improve the quality of mutual communication and cooperation between schools and
institutions (which applied in the prevention area of socially pathological phenomena).
Parents meeting
The goal is to improve parents awareness about drug taking symptoms and consequences.
Also to offer information and contacts of other facilities (social workers, curators, crisis
centers, etc.).
